Steve and I visited Undercliff and the CVH Cemetery.

Random Fact: The names of the deceased patients buried here are listed on three large stone plaques located at the front of the cemetery. One the top of one of those plaques, it reads:

"May all who are buried here, whose names and dignity have now been restored, rest in peace."

Decided to end my long hiatus of not exploring by photographing Undercliff Sanatorium.

Random Fact: Undercliff was originally called "Meriden Sanatorium" when it was established in 1910.

A few shots I took back on April 11, 2006. I would like to go back sometime soon to get some more shots, but that's on hold at this time.

Random Fact: Some friend of mine have told me that they were "touched" and have "heard voices" in the basement of the sanatorium.

Random Fact: I always put off going inside the hospital before demolition. And now I am kicking myself in the ass for not going.

Random Fact: The WPOP building is still used as a remote transmitting station. You can hear the radio station it is re-transmitting, as it is being blasted through speakers inside.

Although Lake Compounce is not yet abandoned, the park was closed at the time. So I considered it to be temporarily "abandoned."
